Lisa Valentine, Founder and CEO

Lisa Valentine has worked in the Financial Services Industry since 1999 and has been a strategic consultant since 2012.

Lisa specializes in assisting firms with their Orion Advisor Tech, from conversion and implementation, to data analysis and best practices. Lisa is also available for singular, Orion-related projects.

She began her career as a Margin Specialist with J.C. Bradford & Co., a Nashville, TN based brokerage firm, and went on to join a Registered Investment Advisor, where she stayed for 8 years and held the position of Portfolio Operations Manager.

Lisa holds a B.S. Degree (magna cum laude) from Middle Tennessee State University.

Candy Chrisman, President

Candy has worked in the Financial Services Industry since 1987 and has been a strategic consultant with LVc Consulting since 2021.

Candy assists firms with their Orion Advisor Tech conversions, Redtail set up, Compliance tools, Ongoing Maintenance, Billing, and Reporting. She also trains firm personnel with an emphasis on best practices and improving efficiency.

Candy began her career in banking and most recently held the title of Head of Operations and CCO at an RIA in Memphis, TN where she stayed for 22 years.

Who We Are

Brian Nelson, Director of Eclipse Consulting

Brian Nelson began his career in public service after earning a Finance degree from Wichita State University in 2005, fulfilling a childhood dream by serving as a patrol officer with the Wichita Police Department. In 2007, he transitioned into the financial services industry, joining his father at LPL Financial. Together, they built a successful, family-run Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) practice, which Brian helped grow and manage for a decade.

In 2018, as his father prepared for retirement, Brian embraced a new challenge in financial technology. He joined Orion Advisor Solutions, where he spent six years in leadership roles across trading services, onboarding, and product management. Brian became a recognized expert in Orion’s Eclipse trading platform, helping advisors streamline operations and enhance client service.

In 2024, Brian continued his fintech journey at LPL Financial’s corporate office as an Advisor Technology Consultant, expanding his expertise across platforms and deepening his understanding of advisor workflows and technology integration.

In August 2025, Brian made the decision to leave the corporate world and return to a more entrepreneurial path. He joined LVc Consulting as Director of Eclipse Consulting, bringing with him 18 years of RIA industry experience, deep financial technology knowledge, and unmatched expertise in Eclipse.
